What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

Making my magazine has taught me a lot about technology and how to use Adobe Photoshop. I became more familiar with the tools and learnt how to apply them to my magazine as real media products would, resulting in a more professional look for my magazine. As well as learning the basics I also learned to use tools such as the spot healing tool, magic wand tool, lasso tool, the paintbrush tool, eraser tool (to create effects) and more. The layers screen allowed me to select each independent piece of my magazine and organise each detail into, making it easier to locate each part and to work with it. Also, I used the text tool throughout for all of my text. It allowed me to keep consistent fonts and colours throughout, demonstrating a house style to my magazine and showing continuity throughout.
