Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?

Looking back at my preliminary task it's clear that my magazine is an improvement in many ways. For example, my designing skills have developed a lot. I took much longer choosing and taking my images for my magazine, and also took the time and care to edit them. Also, I've included much more content in my magazine than my prelim, and made sure I did much more research for my real magazine to improve as much as possible and get the layouts and contents right etc. I think because of this all of my magazine has a much more professional and realistic whereas my preliminary task was much too empty and simplistic, making it look unprofessional, and as I did little research for it, it did not follow many conventions of real magazines. I think all the mistakes I made in my preliminary task were corrected for my music magazine. Overall, I think my preliminary task showed that I needed to develop my skills and do much more research and planning for my music magazine. I feel I did this and therefore my music magazine is well suited to my audience and has a professional look.
