Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?

We have learnt a lot of new techniques, as well as the basic ones we learnt in the prelim exercise. We have also realised how much work and planning must go into real movies in the industry. The basic techniques we learnt helped us from making vital mistakes in our real project. For example the 180-degree rule, when filming a conversation. We made sure when we filmed our characters conversing we wouldn't cross the line. Even though, our finished product is still amateur, you can tell a definite improvement, in our skills between then and now.
