This is the opening shot of my film and is anestablishing shot to present to the audience where the film will take place and the surroundings.

takes place. The shots to follow provide cast and crew credits and close ups on certain things just so the audience are eased into the film and get a sense of what the film is about through the tense music, also.

This is the end of the title sequence as the music is to fade away and the images fade out to present the director of the film. And to highlight the significance of this credit there is no image to take in just the director credit.

This is the beginning of a series of continuity cuts and edits, this shot is eerie as it is dimly lit and the doorway is highlighted as it is about to become a significant part of the following scene to come. This presents to the audience another sense of place.

I used this shot as I wanted to use a cut on action shot, it's also a nice close up and shows the unlocking of the door to convey the opening of memories which is shown later on.

I used this shot as it is very significant, although it doesn't look
it. The shot is filmed behind the staircase's banister, it's very symbolic as it is to convey the sense that her character is trapped, that she is guilty about something and that she is 'behind bars'. It is in black and white and quite unsteady as I wanted it to appear she was being watched and the sudden lack of colour shows the change of view.

I wanted to present a new angle to the audience and therefore this one from outside shows ho
w she's being watched (although not in black and white), it shows a different angle of the scene.

I faded back to when she sat down, I placed the camera here as it was exactly in the spot in which the t.v. was and where she was looking.

The shot above slowly zoomed in as a faded recording on the t.v. announcing the discovery of body suddenly triggers a flashback. This shot, I thought crucial as it presents the run up to the fading to black and her face dominates the screen presenting that it is in her mind and to get the full extent of her blinking to convey it's in her mind.
