The Ending

After the success the technique Ridley scott used when abruptly knock the main character unconscious (as explained before), i thought it would be effective to do the same for the ending on my project, to leave it on a cliff hanger. Gore Verbinski, the director of the well known film pirates of the Caribbean, also used the same technique when ending his film with Jack Sparrow (Johny Depp) closing his compass, the audio (except for the music) and video suddenly stopped upon closure creating an effective cliff hanger and lets the audience think the plot will go on.

I did a similar thing upon the phone hanging up at the end of my project and i think it worked well, it leads into showing the title well and suggests that the plot can go in any direction, making the audience want to carry on viewing.

I chose to display the title of my film after the opening sequence because i think displaying it before hand would give away too much of the plot away to the audience.
