Outside broadcast/Main Headlines

Today we recorded our outside broadcast. At the beginning of our news show, we are having a soundclip to do with one of our main headling stories. The story we have chosen to do this with is one about a train accident. The news show will start and straight away a clip will be played of a man saying a few lines about him witnessing the incident. This is being done as there is no initial description as to what the story is actually on and what has actually happened so it will make the listener want to continue listening to the show as they will want to hear the full story. We also recored one of the presenters reading out the main headlines on the news show and them handing over to one of the other presenters who is going to read out the entertainment news. We recorded each headline as a separate track as we are yet undecided on the order we want them to be read out in and the order we want them to appear on the broadcast and this will allow us to easily put them into an order later on. Inbetween each of our headlines being read out, we plan on inserting a small snippet of music.
