Front Cover Mock-Up

This is a mock-up of what my finished magazine front cover could look like. From my research I knew that I would need a consistent colour scheme on the front cover. I therefore used the colours red and black. The model would also be wearing dark clothes so he stands out against the light grey background. Also, the models head is obscuring some of the magazine name and some of the article headlines. This gives prominence to the musician in the centre of the page. Finally the name of the magazine is big, bold and although it continues the theme of red and black, it stands out against the pale background and is very eye-catching.
