The strapline is bold across the top of the page. By reading it, it breifly explains what the hole page is about. Its bold appearence stands out on the page, with its black background and then the contrasting red title of the magazine to the left. The red can symblize danger, and attracts the readers attention. The also just as contrasting white writing stands out on the page, giving the reader a clear understanding what the pages contents will consist of.The band index down the lenght of the page, makes it easy for the reader to see what bands will be featured in the magazine, and what page they will be able to find them on. This also keeps to the house theme, with the bold subtitle "BAND INDEX" in black, and the bands in the rich red similar to the red of the magazines title. The page numbers are also in black like the subtitle constrasting with the red writing, both contrasting with the white background making the informatiuon stand out. To the right, id further information about what will be featured in the magazine and where they can find it.
The magazine uses one main imagae. Taking up a thrid of the page in the centre. By having this location on the page, its the first thing people will look at because its in the centre of the page which shows importance. It also means the contents information can be placed around the picture to fill the page. The picture itself fits is a casual picture of a band performing on stage, the colours blend with the page and fit with the colour scheme. Underneith, a short breif article on the band.
The page also advertises its self by giving the reader the chance to "subcribe today and save over £45". This stands out on the page with constrasting colours to get the readers attraction, which gives the reader the best chance to be able to see the offer and take it up.
