Our product represents, young adults (despite being played by teenagers) in there 20s. Our characters are supposed to show two people going about their daily lives. Our main character, who was played by Charlotte Hope, is to portray a girl who appears to the audience as a little bit quirky and clumsy. She is also meant to be someone who is not classed as the typical girl, guys like to date and this is why she would appear to lack confidence. She is meant to be a young adult that has just began starting out in life, but still has close connections with her family. You see this as she is going to visit her dad, in the story line. It becomes clear later on in the sequence that a relationship may be quite high on her to-do list, as she is quite taken when she bumps in to our male character played by Tom Edwards. She appears to be someone who is of working class; which suggest that she's an average person of her age group. To us, we think this represents many young women, who are just starting out in their life possibly in there first job, and place of residence, who want to have fun in life, with friends, and find the right person by dating.
Our main male character, played by our actor Tom Edwards, is supposed to represent somebody of a higher class than Charlotte's character. He appears smartly dressed as if he has a good job and is comfortable finical wise. It is unclear why he has a lot of money, but this could be due to coming from a family of wealth and/or inheritance. This could suggest, he goes out with loads of different girls and is maybe a 'player' this is indicated when he speak to Charlottes character and flirts with her. This type of behavior would be thought of as quite typical of attractive males who have money and of this age group. As their priorities are to have fun, be with as many girls as they can and spend their money all at once.
