completed front cover

This is my completed front cover.
I chose the grey backgroud and the simple colours of red and white for the text so that the reader doesn't get distracted by it and therefore looks at the other parts of the front cover, eg the chance to win tickets to festivals and noticing that the magazine is an offical festival magazine. The plain grey blackgound compliments the white text allowing it to catch the readers eye and then read the text and take an interest in the magazine. Also the banner at the bottom is black as most people tend not to read the bottom of the magazine however with the strong background the reader should notice it and look at the extra band reviews that the magazine has.
