This is the logo that I've decided I prefer most. It is simple and rather than using effects is simply Stencil font and capitals to stand out. Once again the style is rough shown by the font which looks like a stenciled graffiti, giving it an urban look. Although I liked the red on my second logo attempt I decided to use a simple black, and instead use red as a colour theme throughout my magazine.

This logo also shows the title which I have decided to use. I've decided to call my magazine 'Nu-Mu' as it's short and catchy and also 'Nu' is a play on words. It can be interpreted as new, showing the magazine follows the latest trends and topics, making it more appealing to the audience, but also can be interpreted as nu as in 'Nu-Metal' a sub-genre of rock, which is the genre of music which my magazine is aimed at. The 'Mu' part is short for music and makes the title rhyme as well as making it snappy and short, as well as visually symmetrical.
When used within the magazine, I will abbreviate it to simply just 'N-M' to make it smaller and simpler to use, but still obvious as to what it means as the same font will be used etc.
