Genre

I have said at the start of my blog that i would film the running scene into a similar style to crank and the YouTube video 'parkor' to help create an action suspense genre. After trying out this style with upbeat music i have decided to change it. I still want to make my project an action suspense opening as well as making the piece more contrapuntal, so i used the same style as crank (from point of view, tracking, as well as close ups) and an overlapping effect (inspired by the red hot chili peppers song video - under the bridge, as shows earlier) with a duration of 50%. I think this helps create a mysterious atmosphere and insinuates an unhappy ending, fitting in with the appropriate genre, action suspense.
