As I had decided by this point that I intended to change the model for the front of my magazine, I based my double page spread around the new model and this is the picture I used.
I chose the picture because it's fun and I thought it would look good within my magazine. Also the plain background to the right on the picture would be good so I can put text on top of it in any colour that I wanted. Also, this picture looks professional as many magazines tend to have the model on the left page and the writing on the right.
I started on the double page spread by adding a banner in the top left side
of the picture. I used the colours, yellow, grey and black. I carried these colours through from the other pages of my magazine to make the audience aware that these pages belonged to the same magazine. I also added a "WORLD EXCLUSIVE" sign in a bright yellow colour to let the audience know that they wouldn't be able to find this interview any where else or in any other magazine.
