Possible titles for the Magazines

When I was deciding on what title to use for the magazine I struggled because most words I thought were what a title should be e.e catchy, links to music genre were taken.

Here is a list of titles I looked into:

Power Pop- I thought the use of alliteration was catchy for young teenagers and the use of the word 'pop' immediately informs the audience of what genre the magazine is on straight away.

However, I thought the title overall was quite cheesy and I didn't want the magazine to be viewed as a joke.

Jam-I thought this term was quite funky and humerous, so may be found catchy by the younger audience. However, in music terminology 'Jam' is used more in different genres of music such as Jazz, Blues and Rock, so it didn't link to my genre.

After considering some different titles the idea I went with for the Magazine was Upbeat.

I chose Upbeat because I thought it was catchy,fun and was a good representational word for most Pop Music. It is also clearly a good term to use for linking to music. 'Beat' is a term used regularly in music as it is the pronounced rhthm of music. Then adding 'Up' to the word makes that music sound faster and like it will be easy to dance to.
