- Out of the three main technologies; Tv, Computer and Radio, Radio seems to be the least popular.
- Radio has changed over the years- it now contains more entertainment and music.
- People prefer to listen to CD's when they are in the car so that only the songs that they like are played (choice and preference).
- The show needs to be exiting and interactive for the listeners.
- Interesting voices are key for a good radio show. No-one wants to listen to a boring, droning voice.
- Accents for different 'pick up' areas- for example Lancashire radio can only be picked up in the are of Lancashire. So the presenters on the radio station are from within the Lancashire area. This also provides recodnisation for the station (where it is because of the accent).
- Social networking is used so much now, and everything can be found out on there (eg; news). So the radio show would nedd to be very appealing so that people would prefer to listen to our show.
- There are now online radio shows- so that people can go onto the internet and listen to it. There are also the radios own personal websites so that people can listen back to previous 'records'.
These are all important aspects which we need to keep in mind whilst making our radio show.
