When doing some last minute research about prices of magazine, our price is around the correct price for a music magazine. However as our magazine is fortnightly then our subscription price is too low as it wouldn't bring in the money for the whole year. Our price was £13 for the who year, when our magazine alone is £2.50 it wouldn't bring in the money to keep the magazine going. So for 12 issues of MF a year it would cost £60 so as subscriptions have a reduction because they know either way that they are tied in for the whole year we've decided to change our subscription price to £50.

This is how magazines make their money, through subscription and advertising which is always placed strategically throughout a magazine.

We also decided after the 10th issue of our magazine that we would remove the price sticker from the issue as by it's 11th issue the magazine will hopefully have a successful amount of readers (if not they have gone bust!)
