In image 1, I have added the text in which will advertise the feature on the front of my magazine, in this case, "SOCIALITE". I have included a quote that she's said and made the size of the text bigger for the quote. I have also underlined the work "ROCK" with a thick line to emphasise this quote. The colour of the quote is in white making it stand out from the other colours that are on the front page and all the text is in capitals. This is to ensure that maximum effect is gained on the audience and helps draw attention to the front cover. The words underneath the quote are in a small size font and in the colour yellow. This doesn't create as much effect as the quote does which I intended to portray because the quote ad the picture should be the main things on the front page. Also it ends in "....". I used this to almost build up the tension for the name of the artist to be revealed. Similar to the quote, the name of the artist is in a bigger font and in the colour white. This is also to help this stand out from the rest of the front cover.
In image 2, I have added the "INSIDE POSTERS FEATURING;" bit. The initial headline is in white to stand out above the black picture that is behind it. The names of the artists/bands featured in the posters are in yellow and are a similar size font to the headline. I did this to ensure they also stand out but don't stand out more than the quote and the name of the artist. The artists/bands I used to list are a similar genre to my magazine. This is because it would be no good listing bands which are a different genre as the audience may become confused as to what genre the magazine actually is.
