In image 1, I added "The real reason behind +44 split" into the bottom right. I decided on +44 because they are the same genre as my magazine and think they're a good band to use on the front to get people's attentions. Also, as they are on a "break" as a band then it is relevant information that people reading the magazine, may be attracted to and tempted to buy.

In image 2, I have added a sticker that is very popular on the front of magazine covers. I believe this also makes it look professional and would potentially get more attention than the cover would get without the sticker. I also enlarged the picture so it took up more room on the front page. The earlier image was not large enough as it didn't appeal to the audience and didn't really look like a picture that would be on the front cover as it wasn't big enough and my magazine now looks better and appeals more.
