Audio Clips & Reasons

For the first interview we have in our radio broadcast we needed some background music as it was an outside broadcast about a big new band signing a major record deal. We start with a quick brief about aobut the band before we go to our reporter interviewing our band member, "River Moonlight" who we tried to give the impression that he was a cocky and slightly arrogant musician who doesn't really know what he is talking about.

The uncopyrighted music in backgroud is from the website www.freeplaymusic.com which has a large collection of free, royalty-free music. I found the site by using yahoo! answers. I thought this was ideal as the person who had asked the question stated that its intended use was for a media project.

For our vox pops about the student protests we decided it would be a good idea to record them in the middle of a protest, to get around this we pulled the audio from a Youtube clip and placed the vox pops over chanting from the clip. To create a more real effect for this part of the show we had the actors shout as if they were shouting over a crowd.

We also recorded one in studio interview with a music critic and one outside broadcast with a rural farmer. No extra clips or audio effects were used for these.
