Due to further research into radio advertising and a mutual agreement on following the style of BBC radio, we have decided not to include a radio advertisement at the beginning of our 5 minutes. As it is not a compulsory feature of our show, we feel as though it would take time away from the important things that we need to include in our time like our studio/outside broadcasts, news round up and studio interview.
However, we have used the research into radio advertising and applied it to the rest of our show. Suchas the fact that radio usually doesn't have the full attention of the listener has prompted us to make our show sound very exciting and appealing to persuade them to pay more attention.
