We have decided on a basic structure outline which our radio broadcast will follow. This will be:
- The outro of a song (approximately 5 seconds)
- Introduction to show - time/presenter's name/radio name etc
- A bit of chat
- News jingle
- The news will start with a sound clip to do with the main story. This will make the listener curious as to what the feature is on and encourage them to continue listening
- The main story will then be announced
- Other news will then be read out
- Other news will consist of an interview with a victim/police officer/member of public etc.
- News jingle again
- Back to presenter - competition is announced
- Bit of chat
- Another song
