This is the main picture of the magazine that i have found when doing my research. The picture shows the four band members of the Red Hot Chili Peppers who are positioned on a beach. With the band postitioned on a beach it portrays that they are a fun band and also like to socolise together. The sun in the background helps emphasize the picture as the main content on the front cover.
This is the mast head of the magazine. The bold red background allows the white text to catch the readers eye. The writing is large and which also helps catch the readers eye. Like most music magazines there is a image over the top of the text. The image doesn't effect mast head as it is clear that the title says 'SPIN'.
The Artist' name has the same colour as the masthead, being white, however unlike the mast head the band name is over the image. This has been done so that the band name is clear and catches the readers eye.
