Research & Planning: Opening Shot

The opening shot of Alfred Hitchcock's 'Psycho' (1960).
In this opening shot (or establishing shot) it introduces the setting and provides the audience with an image of the setting to which the opening takes place.
It's brilliantly framed as it has a tower on the far left with a building in the middle-ground with the words 'Phoenix, Arizona' centred in the middle.
In this opening shot the audience know exactly where it is and later the time and date.
I would possibly like to open with a similar shot to present to the audience the setting, the date and even possibly the time.
