Our radio show is going to consist of a news broadcast. The type of news that appears on different radio stations depends on how formal/informal the radio station itelf is. For example in the BBC, BBC Radio 1 broadcasts news which is more lighthearted, consisting of maybe only 1 or 2 serious worldwide stories and the rest being about more fun things such as celebrities or strange goings-on. In contrast, BBC Radio 2 takes a more serious approach to the news in not just the way that it is read by reading it in a more serious and formal manner, but also in the news which they talk about which tends to be about serious worldwide matters such as war/death/natural disasters.
Our radio broadcast is going to be quite informal and chatty, with the news being like that of BBC Radio 1 and being quite lighthearted.
