For more research I analysed another magazine front cover. Here, I liked the unusual colours used to reflect the contents of the magazine, and also how the central image used was neither intimidating or sexy to interest the audience, instead it was simple and thoughtful which still attracts attention as it was breaking the norm of typical magazine front covers.
